Education is a Supper Priority Sector in the Government of Bangladesh, which Receives Largest  Allocation in the Annul Development Program (ADP). Development of Infrastructure Of Educational Institute i.e. Construction, Re- Construction, Repair and Renovation work, Furniture Supply, Maintenance of Educational institution plays a Significant role for the Implementation of the Govt. Policy regarding Education throughout the Country. And Education Engineering Department is Assure Development work  Educational Institute all over the Country.

        Education is  the Backbone of a Nation. No Nation can Prosper without Education. In 1972 After the Liberation War the Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman was create  Education Engineering Department form an Engineering unit for the Reconstruction, Repair and Renovation of War effect Educational institutions.Construction and repair of the Nation in 1972, an today. Since independence, Bangabandhu Gold Bengali determination to build a free country, the people from the curse of illiteracy began. Development activities include educational institutions to achieve the goal of socio-economic development and annual development programs of the highest priority. Education Engineering Department Development of Educational Institutions, Construction, Reconstruction, Repair and Renovation, Furniture Supply Maintains and Development of other Institute throughout the country, Many schools, colleges, Madrasas, Technical Educational institutions are Development EED. This Department's Dedicated Engineers and Officers and Employees are working Tirelessly to Create Better Infrastructure. Vision 2021 to Buildup Digital Bangladesh Education Engineering Department work to Providing Multimedia classrooms, labs were set up ICT, Internet connectivity, ICT facilities.

          Afterwards a lot of Development Projects were undertaken by the Govt. to be implemented by Education Engineering Department, which needed further extension More Manpower. We need to  Increased up is total Manpower.

 

Functions of the Education Engineering Department

  • Planning, Designing, Monitoring and Reporting of Educational Institute's Development work
  • Construction, Reconstruction, Repair & Renovation of Schools, Colleges, Madrasha, Technical Institutes and other Institutes of Education  etc.
  • Implementation of Development Project and Program Of Ministry of Education.
  •  Implementation of special Projects of Ministries and other Agency on  Turnkey Basis
